Midi + Reason help needed

Just brought myself a m-audio keyrig 25 mdi keyboard to use with reason 4.0. I've installed it and everything but now everything on reason is blacked out i cant select anything and theres no sound coming out. Any ideas??

don't reinstall. reason is fine. it just means youre in remote override edit mode which is what you use to assign knobs manually. go to options and uncheck it.
the reason its grey like that is because when its in remote override edit mode only the part of the rack you selected will show up and allow you to assign functions. the blue arrows show what you can and can't assign.

actually yellow arrows means keyboard control edit mode. get outta dat. in the options menu.
