Bassline tricks ??
Right i don't know if this has been asked before but what are the tricks that can be used with the bassline to make the sound more interesting:
eg. Pitch bend, octave change, LFO Rate.
What else is used to for example to create, Koan Sound - Akira's bassline the big slur etc

Re: Bassline tricks ??
Only way your gonna make a bassline interesting these days is too drop the wobble, but thats just my opinion, and Ive been listening to nothing but Taiko Riddim and Esquire tracks on repeat for 3 days, so take that into consideration, lol.

Thats right, I said it, no wobbles... lol...LordBid wrote:DROP TEH WOBBLEZ?
But seriously, use some effects on the mixer, waveshapers n formants or whatever, n flip em on and off where you want em... also, if you fade a camel phat on and off... it gives a neat effect...

Re: Bassline tricks ??
or use wobbles, but only some of the time, so they seem cooler when they come back in than if they going the whole time. alternate them with dirty sounds and formant basses...
