Problem with Massive

Post by DubSac » Fri Feb 19, 2010 1:59 am

I tried playin with some preset sounds cuz i just got massive, and then i made my own. When i have the plugin open and i play a note, it sounds fine, but when i send it to the piano roll, its a totally different (and shitty) sound. any advice?

that could be the problem. also be aware that you might have some problems with it crashing soon.

Get a better version.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

hey bro
i think i used to have the same problem you were talking about. is the sound that plays through the piano roll kinda like the preset your making but laking all the effects and lfos etc? if so i fixed mine by opening massive and going into the menu above the envelopes and lfo's called global and ticking the box which says external sync. hopefully this will configure massive to run all of its features with your daw when you play it. hopefully this helps!
if not you could always record the riff when the plugin is open through audacity or something and then import it back in as an audio file
peace :D
