pm me your email address again b!
that cd tune: love the sounds used, gorgeous melodies, really nice how it builds up- but i think it could be accentuated by the drums developing more, they sound well hectic when they first drop but by the end they are spot on- make sense? also bass was too deep for my fones, so mabey layer it? so it sounds big on a system and also at home...YA GET MEH?
proples, love, T

I really dig Traitor so far. Has a LOT of different elements that you wouldn't think go together, but you've been able to make 'em all fit like an intricate puzzle. Those string sweeps give it some serious melodic weight, along with those key riffs. I dig how the bassline is a lil more subdued in the mix to let the other elements really give the tune a vibe. Percussion is solid all the way thru, although the structure in the into threw me off quite a bit. I thought it was gonna be a lil more on the 2step/garage tip, but it drops real nice into that halfstep. And the vocal snakes in and out with the echo/pan and just gives this another element to catch people into it.

Mongrel feels a lil more conventional through the breaksteppy intro. I really like the way the bassline has good variety, and the percussion is super crisp (even thru the myspaz player). Just as I was about to say it needs some variety to spice it up before the break, it drops out just in time and that eastern sounding string riff takes a more forward position in the tune, and the drop gives an awesome variety to the percussion and overall feel of the tune.

I would definitely rock both of these :D:

cheers for the responses, glad u liked it :D

@wataka: gotcha, i'll give the drums a bit of work, and get that sub a bit more audible for u headphone cheapskates  . and pm'd about email.

@drum syndicate: cheers for the bigups! i think ur right about that intro, it probably doesnt need the drums before it drops, might try introducin it with just bongos or hihats or something....

@izc: bear with me on the 320's, i'll get em to u soon.

peace
