FL record query

Post by serox » Sun Feb 21, 2010 1:38 pm

I havw two problems!

I am recording automation but not sure where it is!

I hit record and I am moving a knob on the FX unit. The automation has recorded when I play back but where has it gone if I want to edit it? I would like to hit record and FL create a automation clip if possible?

Has it recorded to the 'events' area? I have looked under the instrument but nothing is there that I can see either!

Second problem is this. I must have recorded solo'ing a channel and now everytime I push play it starts solo'ed. I can stop it by telling FL to srtart with everything on. But then later I run into problems when I want to solo something and push play, everything plays. So how do I see like a list of everything recorded so I can undo things?

FL9 btw.

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Hm?

Just quickly tried it as I don't use FL much, it went onto the playlist as an event clip automatically:

cool, how did u get this?

I simply hit record and then moved the knob (vol) in fx and it draws in no automation that I can see....

Hit record -> Last tweaked > Edit Events (Should be your recorded automation) > Edit > Turn Into automation clip

Will give this a go when I get home but I am sure the automation is not showing up in Events.

What about my second query about recorded changes when clicking solo or other buttons. Is it possible to find a list of some sort with ALL automation?!

All automation should show up in Current Project -> Automation -> Pattern #

You may have to spend some time going through your patterns, look for a "Channel Name" - Mute / Solo, then right click, edit events, edit -> Delete all.
