it's fucking amazing imho
is it just a reaction to popularity?
I thought the social commentary was a little weak but it's still an enjoyable film, just don't expect any deep philosophical meaning or statement. Considering what the original film was like (very short), they managed to add some real meat to the bones of the original. I enjoyed it a lot more the second time around but it's not as moving as my favourite sci-fi of the year; Moon.

just came back from seeing precious at the cinema, although a good film i was disappointed and found myself drifting off at parts. however the end confrontation scene in the welfare office was fucking exceptional!

What did you think of it? I loved up, one of the best animated films there is I reckon. Really really enjoyed it, think it probably has re-watch factor too.

Depressing, but very good. The voiceover is a bit frustrating at times (bloke's a slow reader and sounds like he's reading it off a script), but they get the stories across well enough.
