Was in my mates car affter he passed his test. Pulled up at a crossroads and he conked out started to laugh at him next second a car came around the corner at about 90mph and left the road landed in a field and flipped.

Looked at my mate whos face was absolute astoundment and I just let a large laugh out of me got out of the car...everyone was ok. Me and the passenger in the back seat would most definately have been dead had it not been for him conking out.

I have'nt laughed at someone conking out since

Cool stories!

The most appropriate one I have is one that actually lead me into making electronic music etc. For some still unkown reason i had a seizure and had to be revived etc. Definately not the most pleasant of experiences, but strangely enough it kind of equated to an insane drug trip. Especially once I came back into being conscious. All my senses were a bit mashed and I could as good as see sounds and stuff. Loads of strange noises and rhythms too, so a few months later in order to maybe make sense of things I fucked about wi' fruity loops to see if I could capture the vibes of that time... Enjoyed it, moved on to ableton to expand the soundsss, and worked from there ever since

When I was 17 I lost so much blood that (something went pop due to portal hpyertension) I got air-lifted to hospital and put in an ICU for two days, can't remember a fucking thing. Annoyingly my mate's still bring it up and my ex was very protective of me because of it, which was 8) but also :( as I'd rather just forget about.

That's about it really, suppose I should include hepatic cancer; although that's all in the past - no point on dwelling on it.

Damn a lot of near misses eh? :!:

I lead a relatively safe life but my foot has been run over by a speeding car - that was a bit of a close one

Don't know how true this is but a guy tried to commit suicide in Berwick, jumped off the railway bridge hoping to hit the river and drown. Only the tide was out and he hit the concrete founds, broke both his legs, tide came in, swept him out to see where he was washed up on a beach, got found by some bloke walking his dog, got taken to hospital for his injuries and hyperthermia. Survive and became a devout Christian... only to get ran over and killed within weeks of being released from hospital.

The shoot I beat on wasn't anything like that :o just a bunch of farmers and that who chucked some money into a pot to put down pheasents and feed on a bit of moor. I did get me bait and a kitty behind the bar, like. Best part was driving the landrover defender in fields :D

A pack of Goats tried to Rape me at Busch Gardens (Florida)
I got blown out to sea on a rubber dingy, didn't see dry land for about an hour (wearing Speedos)
Detached my Retinas and nearly lost my eyesight (bungee jumping)
Got Dengue Fever whilst two days away from the nearest hospital, in five days all i ate was a packet of Skittles.
Dragged for about half a mile whilst Kiteboarding in gale force winds, i ate a ot of sand that day.
Cracked a couple of ribs whilst Kiteboarding .
Hung out with the Cambodian Minister for Agriculture an army General and their bodygaurds. All took great pleasure in showing me their machine guns, sidearms, grenades and what looked to be a bazooka.

in the middle of nowhere driving home with some friends. can't remember why but my friend driving needs to turn around so he pulls into someone's gravel drive. (note: this friend is a bit crazy and drives the same so he more "tears into" the drive rather than "pulls into" it). it was fenced on either side so we couldn't see what was there.. but as soon as we tear in we see this guy sitting on his porch.. within a few seconds he's grabbed a rifle and comes running at us.. my friend puts it in reverse and steps on it.. gravel starts flying everywhere.. dude keeps running and takes a shot.. eventually we get back on the road and take off..
i couldn't tell but i'm sure he just shot over us because he could have easily hit us if he wanted.. just wanted to give a scare tho..
the whole thing happened so fast it was over before i could even process what was happening..
dude probably wouldn't have done anything if my friend wasn't driving like a nut..
