His production is so solid! All the background sounds are all so good!

Also I'm just glad that hes trying something different, cause hes stuck with the same sound for ages now. Absolutly nothing wrong with experimentation. Can't wait to hear something finished of his.

Take it with a grain of salt, hes just having a bit of fun. Really, he has nothing to prove and nothing wrong with experimenting other genres. If you don't think all the top house producers don't have a dubstep lemons sitting on their hardrives u are kidding yourselves, I found it interesting to hear his take, good or bad.

he already has, minus gimmick

Looking at the names of the tracks I get the impression that someone is fucking around and not being serious unlike half the trolls on here "omg death of dubstep" etc etc

The real stnuc are the people who post comments on his sound cloud such as "omg its so awesome sounds so great etc etc"
SHUT YOUR tnuc ಠ_ಠ

The "Deadmau5 House" sound was kinda getting done to death by him, so was pretty interested to see he was making a dubstep track.. It's pretty underwhelming as the general concensus is on this thread, but I think a lot of it comes from it being Joel as has already been pointed out. Some unknown (as has been said) might have got less harsh sentiments from everyone, but he is one of the biggest names in House so you expect big things.

What people need to think though is this is only a demo, or work in progress.. The end product could be totally different.

If however it doesn't change much, I will join in the "this sucks" brigade though  Needs more of a sub as has already been pointed out, and a bit more of a variety with the beat for definite. At the minute it's just kinda flat.. And personally I though version3 was better than version4..

He's a new jack. He didn't reach his success through years of promotion and dedication. This is some rave geek who uses 90s internet lingo and 4chan behavior (all djs are stnuc...attention whore) on the internet to push himself. Any idiot who's listened to dance music for any significant period of time knows there is nothing new with Joel Zimmerman.

His music is soulless, and this funtime track is no different. But he doesn't need respect from nobodies like me, he's got funktion one in his living room! Equipment that was bought with knob twiddling trance gig money.

His shows are for squares on drugs

The sad thing is that that is what generic dubstep sounds like in 2010.

Sidechaining the entire track through the kick isn't really useful effect in this realm, imo
