Yes I am. I am in a position to decide anything I choose.

It's called critical thinking. Also see other unheard of concepts such as: "reason", "logic" and "common sense".

*(I would also advise some lessons in "communicating effectively" as your posts barely make sense and you seem to speak in incoherent ramblings most of the time).

why do the same idiots feel the need to jump into these threads when they've so many times before told us where they stand
i don't care magma, youve said all that before hundreds of times, we're trying to have a discussion about something that obviously doesn't hold true to you, so why bother?

Well, apparently Alien Pimp wanted to have a conversation about it. I'm not quite sure why he felt the need, as I was replying to Parson and not him.

What got me involved was the repeated idea that people who don't believe are either stupid or haven't studied the information. We have. We just didn't buy it. I'm totally happy for all you guys if you do believe it and it improves your life (I feel similar to how I do towards those that find happiness in Buddhism or Christianity), honestly it's absolutely your business and not mine.... but if you post arrogance like this in public, you're going to get replies:

Peace,
ohh, so that's critical thinking and logic, controlling your thoughts... smart!

as for making sense to a person who thinks uncontrollable thoughts can control themselves, yeah i totally want to not make sense to them, i'd go check my head as soon as someone like you would find sense in my shit

except parson is indeed much more intelligent, just too aware of that and self-delusive, but he was right in every bit of that post, so why condemn the truth? again because some people are not comfortable with it?

Fair enough. I'd like discussions on this to stay civil, tbh because I'd like one of you guys that are convinced about this to show us exactly why you're so convinced. Answers like "You're too stupid to understand" or "You haven't looked" are bound to wind people up if they have actually looked at the information.

I've been on and off looking into this stuff since I found out about it around 10 years ago whilst I was still young and impressionable... I was guilty of a few "You're not awake" rants in my time (even got me and some workmates kicked out of a fancy bar in Bristol for getting too heated once!), but I've pretty much given up on it after spending most of my 20s reading books on physics and human history. I'm actually a little embarrassed of quite how confident I was in my "knowledge" as an 18 year old... I'm definitely happier to be proven wrong these days.

It's really pretty surprising how many conspiracy theories are scattered around our society's history with varying levels of 'success'. We've had Kings and PMs put in the dock for being part of secret societies that didn't exist... at the frontier of human knowledge mysticism seems to reign until the truth is found. As I mentioned earlier... one of the most relevant examples I've found recently was the cult of seeing prisms as proof of God.... that was headline news in the 1800s, everyone bought in... and then scientists explained what was really going on.

Has anyone considered that people saying there are aliens are the aliens?

Also, are we talking physically alien or mentally alien?

Like someone said earlier, it could all be symbolism.

how old are you? i thought you were about 20 lol
it runs a lot deeper than conspiracy theories
the main point of the "conspiracy" is to keep us from remembering who we are, and what we are capable of
do you know we all actually have a third eye? the pineal gland with rods and cones all over the inside, exactly like any other eye except no pupil
this stuff is all real, you just need to remember, and soon it will be to difficult for you not to remember, any of you
i fully understand you probably don't agree with that statement but time will tell
for now i'm done with these discussion as they always go round in circles and the apathy in this forum disgusts me tbh
PEACE OUT

I'm 27, so not that much older than you thought. I'd say I got interested in most of this stuff in the same way as most people do... I was always the interested and politicised teenager... into my punk, hiphop and rave culture... these things come your way fairly naturally, as you know.

I'm even happy to interpret the Pineal as a "third eye"... I'm *very* happy with the use of hallucinagens to help understand existance and the human condition and have experimented plenty myself. What I don't particularly agree with is taking hallucinations totally literally... the human brain is the most complex structure in the known universe (we have never found anything with more working parts)... to claim that we understand exactly what's going on in there would be rather arrogant of us as a species at the moment.

I'd never intentionally call anyone stupid for believing these things... but equally, I'm fairly happy that I'm not stupid, ignorant or apathetic for not believing myself.

I'm sorry if this disgusts you, it's really not intended to... you're a sound bloke in my eyes (as are Parson and AP 99% of the time).

I'm pretty much with Magma on this. Am open to be convinced and happy for people to believe whatever they want if it makes them feel better, but I can't (currently) see the benefit in doing so re the literal interpretation of reptilian existence in everyday life and on the news.

I agree with a lot of what Parsons says (on this and other threads) but I wouldn't include all of it with above and don't see 'conspiracy theories etc' as all-or-nothing packages.

Yeah... I'd hate to think this was an all or nothing thing. Parson posts some of the most interesting stuff on this forum... which is why it always gets read and debated! He has beautiful turn of phrase too... it's really quite enjoyable reading his view of the universe.

I really don't want to come across as a negative influence... it's just conversation. If you share something with the group, it's going to get responses.

i like how people on drugs are insaaaaaane.

but the people who watch tv and want the economy to grow and work all day with nary a moment to generate an original thought are totally sane! not just acceptable, but preferable!

There we go again. We all lack original thought... of course... all sheep... which is why we're inquisitive enough to get into non-mainstream music, but we're not good enough for non-mainstream thought?

Please... keep your head in the sand, but it's not ignorance you're dealing with here; it's a difference in logic. You watched all the videos and were convinced it was true, other people watched them and figured it probably wasn't true. It's your rabid insistence that you're right due to some fluke of nature which has left you phenomenally intelligent, yet lacking the guts to do anything but show off about it on an internet forum.

Real explorers and discoverers shout until they're blue in the face until the world accepts their truth. Egomaniacs keep their message to a small crowd so they can snare a few followers and only have to deal with the minimum amount of debate.

Someone present some proof for once. It's all just talk... videos of circumstantial (at best) evidence and allusions of drug experiences... flimsy at best. It's not even as well thought out as the hologram idea that started this thread, which may well be very pie in the sky, but at least comes from someone who's got real experiments backing up his research.

Who is designing the experiments to prove these theories? When will you be able to prove this to the world? Are you worried that someone will prove it wrong?

Why has nobody with a genuinely analytical brain ever decided they were going to prove it? Isn't that what humans tend to do with this sort of stuff? It's what we did for everything else....
