So called Bug Parties are definitely real, though the dramatica website is all jokes. Search elsewhere on it though, they are frequented by the same people with extreme fetishes who also mutilate their genitalia/bodies etc. I first heard about it in the mid 90's, and since then there has been a few documentaries and interviews floating around.

When i got a (routine) STI check i got a HIV one just for the sake of it and she said i was 'very low risk' because its mainly the person receiving fluids that can get the infection so that is probably why its more focused on gays as they both recieve fluids.
