Am I the only hip-hop fan who doesn't really like 2001?

I like it but not as much as most people.
Anyway, Liquid Swords > 2001 without a doubt.

I don't think it's the best hiphop cd ever... not by a long shot, but it's fucking excellent none the less. Reminds me of my very first car and soundsystem.... got played to DEATH!

You got the number, it's on YOU to make the call
You know I cum quick; help you re-decorate your walls
Cut your backyard, don't have to act hard to get the cock
And if I'm goin too far, I take it out and wipe it off
and put it back up, and keep going.

2 of my 3 favourite moments on the album. The other is: "You look like AC Green, B1tch don't call here anymoer...With feet like Ben Verenes...B1tch don't call here anymooooooooree...".

Classic.

Last year my office moved into a new building, state of the art open plan lots of "break out areas" and comfy chairs etc etc.

And we wrote a guide about the place, the security features and because we've got quite a few people here that have worked for the company for like 30 years and never experienced an open-plan office, we also included in the guide a section on how to behave yourself.

Re-reading it, I just came across my contribution:

Although this may appear unimportant or even humorous to some, a significant
number of staff expressed a concern that breaking wind in an open plan office is
inconsiderate, fumes travel and it becomes unpleasant for everyone in the vicinity.
Therefore it merits a mention in this section.

I love the phrase "breaking wind"... it makes me think of Tim-Nice-But-Dims in the RAF farting on each other's heads.

This didn't make me happy today, but yesterday I got to geek it up in a LASER lab at Imperial Uni... a mate of mine is working on her final project which is some pretty awesome laser control (although not technically a laser because it's more versatile).

FRIKKIN LASERBEAM!!

She explained it all to me with a izan Rape Orgy analogy (which really made sense!) and then I got drunk and got out-geeked by people monumentally cleverer than me. Brilliance.

I love scientists.
