I give it 2 days before you dont even turn on the mopho anymore cause its "to easy to use" and the liquid mix has some kind of liquid sticky on it..... :z:

Gotta say - my production partner had a Mopho for the last 7 or 8 months and sold it recently: it's cool and has some potential, but we got a lot more mileage out of the MonoMachine and various softsynths. I dunno. Let us know how you like it and post up some stuff you make with it.

Monomachine looks fucking nice. went with the mopho because its analog and cheap. im hoping it adds a nice texture to my mixes. it comes tomorrow so ill let you know what it think.

after reading your posts and doing some research i am considering buying the liquid mix 16.
please take it for a test run and let me know how bad the latency issues are on it.

If it's texture you're after, then it may work pretty well for you. Not so much for basses though.

initial reactions for those who wanted to know:

the mopho is pretty dope. definitely not for bass but its really cool for synth efx and it has a nice dirty sound. its limited but it has that old school synth sound i wanted. i feel like ill get a lot of use out of it for thickening up vst sounds with it making lfo and filter effects. actually i lied though. there is a test tone patch, which is just a sine, and if you pitch it down all the way the sub is deep.

liquid mix is awesome. i havent noticed the latency on mine or my boys system. its sounds really good from what ive heard so far. ive got to get a new firewire card and do a lot more experimenting with it but the first impression is :W:

thread update - the mopho is officially badass, i love it. however, sent the liquidmix back due to driver support issues :u:
