FL Love Philter problem
Okay so I've got love philter set up on one mixer channel, no automation or initialised controls, then I set up another love philter in a seperate mixer channel (not in a chain or anything like that) but whenever they're both on at the same time the cutoff suddenly goes up on the first one, none of the controls change but the sound is completely different, the first one only works properly when the second one is turned off.
I have no idea what's going on or why this is happening, any help here?

Re: FL Love Philter problem
So wait, are yo playing two of them off seperate sends or something?
It would stand too reason that when frequencies overlap, or when there are too fitlers on the same sound working independant of each other, that the sound WOULD completely change...

Re: FL Love Philter problem
does it happen all the time, or just one one particular file? if you can reproduce it it might be a glitch, otherwise I'd guess somehow you've automated (I know you said you didn't), or maybe yeah the signal chain in the mixer has been altered... Can you actually see the knobs turn?back2onett wrote:Okay so I've got love philter set up on one mixer channel, no automation or initialised controls, then I set up another love philter in a seperate mixer channel (not in a chain or anything like that) but whenever they're both on at the same time the cutoff suddenly goes up on the first one, none of the controls change but the sound is completely different, the first one only works properly when the second one is turned off.

Kind of sounds like a bug to me. Why not export whatever you're using them for to a wav and use audio as a work-around?

2 different fx channels each with a different filter each one effecting a different sound. I know what you mean about frequency overlaps but it's not even when they're playing together, just when they're both on.Basic A wrote:So wait, are yo playing two of them off seperate sends or something?

I'm guessing it's probably just a glitch, haven't tried this again on anything else so it could just be a one-off thing

Wow, that is wierd then dude...
As suggested above, you may wanna consider stemming down the audio you wish too send too the filters, applying each seperately, and then reopening and layering them... If I get you right, your trying to use bus tracks too send the same sound through two love filters right? Just open as audio, filter em both, and open each as a seperate clip then.

2 different sounds through 2 different filters, not as a chain, not involved with each other in any way. weird right?
