A rich yuppie-trash woman has bought the building my local pub is in and is not renewing the lease.

The pub is the cornerstone of our community and a destination for people who visit from around the world.

It's been an institution for nearly 40 years.

I'm all for progress.. but not at the loss of what is important.. and in this day and age community is a rare comodity.

This proves my point about community too.. that peoples across the world who ain't even been there is willing to help out.

Damn right bro. Anything to help out. What does she want to put in place of the pub? Starbucks/GAP( although they are goin well down hill in the buisness terms -20% like for like sales, and goin down even more)..

the upper nob hill is called Snob hill by everyone out here.
lower nob hill also known as polk gulch.
could be worse could live between nob hill and the tenderloin.. known as the tender nob

The woman who bought the building has a history of buying up buildings with food/bar on the premises. She then refuses to renew leases and buys out their licence at a super low cost. Then she installs a dodgy italian joint.
shes done it several times in the city already. The italian resturants are isht and are complete business faliures... woman is mental.

I can't thank people enough for helping.. we gonna fight this right till the end.

This woman wants to put in an upscale Italian restaurant, I think she's trying to expand her culinary empire.

In America there's not many pubs, and this place is a PUB, it would really really suck to loose it, and Thank you so much for helping.
