yea i know what you are saying, but great results can also be achieved with many different synths too

i just think its far more rewarding to take that little extra time to learn how something can be made

like i said, i achieved a pretty bloody sweet sounding dub guitar from scratch in reason the other day with minimum effort
for sure!
