The best thing you've ever bought for £1

Post by Shae » Sun Mar 07, 2010 3:16 pm

I've just wolfed down a bag of birdseye mini chicken kievs, currently on offer at tescos for a quid, for 12... I just can't believe it, they're fuckin gorgeous, and only a pound! Usual price is about £1.40, but even at that price I can't argue... bit of ketchup and it's heaven...

I was just wondering what other bargains ninjas have picked up for a measly quid... a few of my others include

- Various records
- Shit from the pound shop like spray paint, 8 milky way crispy rolls, 3 packs of king size rizla etc
- Reduced steak in supermarkets

I fuckin love a bargain, last night I bought a £1.20 pack of beef mince and made some seek (sp?) kebabs, like long meatballs, added some cayenne pepper, some garlic, chilli, paprika, and to think they cost me £1.20, and they're a fiver from a takeaway, madness
Dark angel, fall from the heavens above, send me an angel to heal my heart from being in love... After all of the love for you, in my life, but it wasn’t good enough for you, I can’t take no more tears from my eyes.... But it wasn’t good enough for you, I can't take no more hurt from that time....

Probably a MASSIVE bag of chips from the Chinese in my town. So many and they always taste a little bit chinesey.

LSD or an Echo and the Bunnymen album. Both were well worth the pound I paid for them.

not quite as epic as the keiv's but the CO-OP round the corner from me started selling 2litre bottles of Fanta and Dr Pepper as well as bags of skittles for 80p. i thought it was an error and someone had priced them wrong so i bought shitloads. that was about a month ago and the offer is still on.

Even less than $1.00. I found a rare Orb CD in a huge discount bin for 50 cents.
