i thought the first one was better, it came out about 12 years ago and nothing like it had been done before. Sure you had FPS but nothing as deep and atmospheric, it was quite seminal. the second one was good but it suffered the fate of being a ripple of the big splash.

got a mate who clocked portal in a about two hours. his mind just works that way :o

not like portal was hard game. I spent 2,5 or 3 hours to beat it and in retrospect it's actually quite long.

awesome game. Gravity gun was awesome. Great sound too. It was a movie that you were in. I genereally don't play games anymore, but I will play the next half life

Yeah the HL series is probably one of the best of all time.

Only ones that come close imo are Dead Space and Doom 3. Shit your pants bizzle.

Half-Life are the best. ever. got my hands on first one when it was out and it was HUGE. the only game i can put in comparison is fallout. end of story there.

i thought dead space was such an over hyped piece of shit. played it for about 20 mins till some werid fucked up thing tried to attack me then turned it off and traded it it.

i already told the story when we packed ourselves up with chips cola and weed playing that shit on the huge wall screen (nah, just a projector on a wall) underground floor of club i was booked to play at in fucking Kazachstan!! shit was so scary to play being that high i almost shat over the xbox console

I couldn't get away with dead space either, two things annoyed me about it: 1) that pointless shit of buying guns and saving up credits 2) the physics of the game didn't feel as fluid as other games.

Still can't believe HL is over ten years old, feels like only yesterday when I first played it
