Re: GRIMEY- djekim
Sorry if this sounds harsh but when I put up any clips I want to hear it straight.
I thought the intro had potential but it didn't do anything. The vocal at the drop is cheese and sounds like "everybody dance now" which is an over used sample. The bass needs work and doesn't even flow or fit with the track. In fact, nothing sounds in time at all to me. The drums, the bass and the sample all sound out of place and do nothing for each other.
The track has no melody and the first bar is the same throughout the whole thing so it gets boring quite quick.
btw, IN.

Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Another one? IN. We need a bigger font for those stickies.

Sharmaji wrote:#1. DON'T BE A DUMBASS
rule #1 can manifest itself in many, many ways. The most common one is DON'T BREAK THE LAW IN PLAIN DAYLIGHT. IE, don't ask/post about cracked software or warez on a public forum, and don't share copyrighted material (most commonly, samples).
#2. New to dubstep? Got a question about production? Welcome to the family. We're more than happy to help, but it's a 2-way street, so do your due diligence: USE THE SEARCH BUTTON and READ THE STICKIES before you ask.
#3. As fellow producers, we want to hear your tunes, tune ideas, synthesis projects, etc. there's 2 threads up top for feedback-- post 'em there, rather than making a new thread.
that's all.
