Im trying to get kelly dean and steady on this one for a 3 way collab :)

Well, the elements are nicely mixed, but I'm not fund about bringin a rahter steady fat kick togehter with a nive and quite voice and synth, I think it's a little out of proportion... I would loosen up a little, using a not so fat kick and make the track a little more loungy, if you know what I mean, because the synth and the voice is working find and have a nice mood to it.

Vey nice mixdown, sounds good. Anything missing it would be something a little more catchy if you want people to remember hearing it...

I think it sometimes have too much high end, especially in some of the transitions, but also around the snare, too much to confuse one. And you've autopanned your lead synth right? I think it's too much and is also confusing, and I would do it very subtle myself if at all. That a side it's very good, very Hench ;-) Big up!

Don't forget to give feedback when asking for it, not only is it good manners but it also keeps the system flowing.

projekt.....bro im real liking this track, pretty damn clean, not muddy at all lyk, if anything, i reckon that the kick needs to have a lil mo variation & the snare is standing out too much for this type of track, maybe turn it down a lil bit & make it brighter instead.

astral... umm i loved the intro espesh when the samply organ thingy started, but once it dropped....i kinda wish it hadnt ay, i reckon that trance style bass needs to be low ended hard, not real sure what can be done, maybe starting but from the intro is in order. but ay thats only my opinion bro

trox....bro did you make this all from a dubstep sample pack? cause thats what it sounds like ay. it has all the elements of something good, but its put together so outa wack it loses all appeal ay.

hey im not tryn to put yall down for all the effort yall have made. i dont know what kinda sound ya goin for, but in my own opinion; get what ya get & dont get upset!!

this is what im working on at the moment ay, alot of potential....but needs alot of work & i just keep listening to try & unlock the secret.
tell me what yall think, stomp it into the ground, shit on it, eat it up, hug it like a baby, make love 2 it like a drug crazed nympho....i care nada.
but do give some feedback. CHEA!!

just droppin by a thought, not much time to leave feedback, but trox for a tune called "kut the midrange" it certainly don't look live you've kut much midrange out of it.

Having real problems mixing this one down, it just sems too 'thin'?
Apologies for not giving feedback first, but when i get back tonight i'd do at least 3, plus whoever gives mine feedback.
Think it's got potential anyway!

Soundcloud
Its got potential. If you think it sounds thin, i think you could lay a less distorted square synth line over it or something, or some stabs.
But be careful as you current synth is right in the middle of the mix and it might get a bit muddy/messy.
Any idea where its gonna go? how its gonna progress?
The bass melody (if you wanna call it that) is good and i think it would work if you drop out the higher, vocal synth you have there, keep the sub going and layer on the aforementioned synth lines to create a spacier bridge (eg. "when i look at you"), before you drop right back into the heavy synth again.

Deep tune, love how the sub almost grumbles, and the strained vocals sound sick when they come in. Not big on the lil wobble on the drop, but the tracks def got potential.

Here's something I cooked up this morning...

Beautiful intro. Feelin' how you kept the vibe with the wobbles, has a nice atmosphere. Would agree to turn down the snare a bit, seems a bit prominent. Really good work on this one though.

Actually this song is all original. All the sounds except for the vocal sample and beat were made by me with synthesis. The song structure def needs some help. Thanks for the criticism!

I like the build here really nice ambience and vibe throughout, gives a really nice bed to cement the track.
As a whole track i think it works well. Really like the synth sounds and the nice subtle yet heavy bass

Me me the kick and snare are a little to overpowering, i would go for a kick with less high frequency material, and i feel that the snare is a little to loud and a bit to dry for the track.

Also i think the hi-hat pattern could do with a little more variation? perhaps a little switchup at the end of each 8 bar? or change it over each 16 or something?
Finally i think you could make a little more of the breakdown section? Maybe a key change or bigger variation on the shord pattern? just something to give it a bit more contrast from the rest of the track

Hope this helps!

I REALLY like this. nice build up to the drop, also lovin the chopped vocal sample

Although for me it sounds like theres a bit to much going on at once in some parts, especially after the breakdown (3:40 onwards) Also maybe the hi-hats could come down a little in the mix?
Also i think the snare could have a little more impact to it, or perhaps be layered with something much dryer to help it cut through a little more
Final note, maybe a little more of a leadout to the intro, i feel like for the vibe of the track, it cuts off a bit to abruptly

Hope I've helped, keep up the good work boyo :t:

PS sorry for the double post, shudda grouped them into 1 :i:

I like it aswell, agree with most of what is said here above.
The kick imo is good, but the snare needs work, it needs to be softer, spacier, more echo to it :)

Lookin for some feedback on my latest project, would be great :
