Ye seven was signed on Ram records for years under the name Eddy Woodubloke wrote:yeah there are exceptions, Martyn for one, and also Benny Page (Satori) and Zero G are making massive dubstep tunes! as well as the ones mentioned above. I swear Seven and Dj Madd produced dnb before dubstep as wellHibbie wrote:Lies! Calibre! Although I do see what you mean though, haven't heard any dnb producers using percussion the way Ramadanman, Shackleton, Mala etc.
The percussion in Diamond dub by Calibre is so good, it may not vary but oh my days

Re: DJ Fresh has a go...
Mate i would probably fall asleep easier listening to 'Sweet Shop' or this tune than i would if i was listening to, say Ben Verse or Kryptic Minds tunes because of the sheer depth they have to them. That therefore holding my interest in the song.BenF7 wrote:Well at least you won't be falling asleep during the filth
Just listen to these 2 songs and count how many different layers you can hear. I guarantee the deeper tune will have more.
