I always save my work as a layer based photoshop file .PSD, a maximum resolution, 300dpi .JPG, a smaller low resolution .JPG for uploading onto various sites and a hi res, 300dpi .PDF for the ones that go to the print shop.

What is your reasoning for not saving in JPEG Dutchstep? I do know that my colours alter ever so slightly for each of these 3 different file formats, and JPEGs are of a slightly lower quality, but at 300dpi you would have to be blowing it up to the size of a giant building to notice any major discrepancies imo.

Did an awesome shoot in a blood bath with a new model on the scene going by the name of Betty Machette for the Barely Rotten Girl Next Door photo competition, now we need some votes to attempt a win, haha
Here is the link for voting: Barely Rotten Girls Comp just post a comment or click on like, that is all you need to do :D :D
Here is the submitted shot:

Here are the ones that didn't make the cut, it was a hard choice!!

Thanks Horse!!

Have fixed the link I think haha

Was trying to go for the whole zombie look, it worked in some of them, but yeah, some of them do look quite junky like, think it comes down to the tones, the wet hair and the almost gaunt look in some of them due to trying to retain the fake blood in the mouth for extended periods of time, In some of the other shots she looks more like the victim of a brutal assault.

had a look through the other entries.
i dont think youve got anything to worry about man, 99% of the others are fucking terrible. some truly astoundingly bad photoshop work in some of them. and awful photography in the rest!!

not with things like this:
Image
it's not to everything, sometimes the difference isn't disturbing ( like huge photo's )
but right now it looks like a crappy paint whore, (no offence)
PSD is way to high, PNG & BMP are way way better
because this is the difference between PNG & JPEG,
Image

so when you use a font in your work, never use JPEG

Jpg is like mp3, it's useful to show somebody a preview, but when it comes to the finished product, you want a different format.
