Serious problem with NI Massive in logic

Post by PROTOTYPE » Fri Mar 12, 2010 5:26 pm

I've just got home and reopened a track ive been working on - and massive has completely fucked up. I'm going to try and describe this problem as best i can although it's probably going to sound a bit confusing. Please listen to this bounce of the track I made BEFORE massive decided to fuck me over - http://www.zshare.net/download/7362601786c39b2c/

The problem is with the pulse like bass playing throughout the track. Basically, every time a note in the piano roll hits, its skipping to a different part of the synth pattern. It sounds like each note is lasting for longer than it is actually written out. If i click on the "7 Perf" section, the synth is skipping between numbers rather than hitting on 1 every time. Please tell me if i need to explain this clearer. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks :u:

Massive often does this thing for me in Logic where it resets a bunch of settings (polyphony, legato, voice settigns mainly) randomly in all my active instances of Massive. Although I can now tell when it does it as I get a 'beach ball' mouse pointer for about 5 seconds, so I just have to make sure I save really regularly...

Furthermore to your problem, I believe you may not have the 'restart' option selected on your Performer so that the Performer restarts for every note triggeres.
