Re: Midi Keyboards
Edirol PCRs are known to be fragile.
The MPK-49 is a good keyboard but it's very expensive.
I bought myself an Oxygen 61 (M-Audio) a few months ago and I love it, it's half cheaper than the MPK and much more resistant than the PCRs.
Best value for money imo. ~ 150 €

Yeah, what the fuck is up with Edirol kit man? Everything is so damn delicate. Like its been made out of fairy wings and unicorn tears or something.........daft tnuc wrote:Edirol PCRs are known to be fragile.
I recently upgraded from my old M-Audio Keyrig 49 and wish I hadnt. That keyboard had 0 frills but was a sturdy piece of kit.

Re: Midi Keyboards
A decent MIDI keyboard is my next venture....bassline variation is where I'm sticking at the minute. How much does a decent one go for?

depending on your needs... I'd reccomend one the the maudio axiom ones or the akai mpk series. Those both have sliders, knobs, and drum pads
also take a serious look at the novation controllers... the automapping is awesome
hope this info was helpful
