Good stuff in this thread! Had some fun with BeepMap before, but will give some other stuff a try.
Also gotta like the visual result of arping simple waveforms (I don't like Wave Candy, though):

Tried "painting" in piano-roll too, but the harmonics then are a pain in the ass

Bumping this up because it's awesome. I downloaded the demo of photosounder to try it out and the whole not being able to save is kind of annoying. I tried the link for the monalisa-au, but it takes me to a forbidden page in japanese and after searching around I haven't been able to find a free alternative for mac, or I just haven't hit on the right combination of search criteria to stumble on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? also, has anyone who's done this used any of the sounds they made in tune?
