He doesn't get booked much due to there was a stage he'd only turn up if he felt like it.

Re: "well known" DSF producers
Ive just read that Zomby thread.
Is that guy for real? What a fucking knob. I bet he is a five foot three, skinny little bitch that gets beaten up by his girlfriend or something and needs to act like a bad ass on the internet to make himself feel less of a pussy.
Suprised Hyperdub picked him up...... Cant imagine him and Kode9 having much in common.

Re: "well known" DSF producers
DSF certainly has a slew of large players lurking about all over the place.
Talked to funtcase in production a while back, but havent seen him since tho (probably busy killing it)
As for zomby, i like his beats but they lack lowend.

Zomby beats have lowend when they need them, Tarantula on the new hyperdub compilation is boomy as fuck..
Jaydot, listening to other dubstep tunes (of all types) through the headphones/speakers you use to mix is a great help.. and something tells me if you're new to Zomby you need to start listening to more dubstep

Re: "well known" DSF producers
It does often seem like people on the main forum dont think its actually the real person posting. I'm sure most DJ's and producer talked about on here still check this place on the regs, even if they dont post.

Re: "well known" DSF producers
zombys got some style, no doubt about it. he's got his own sound and his tunes aren't overly technical and wanky show off shit, and i dig that. not saying his songs are simple, but he's raw in that he just doesn't give a fuck about getting a perfectly polished shiny mix, or wasting time overanalyzing his music and thinking shit to death which music needs more of. i mean dude said he does something like 30 songs a week? thats some fucking steez
and who cares if he's an asshole. it's one thing if he's stealing your money (which im pretty sure wasn't the case in that thread in question) but lets face it - some of the most artistically gifted individuals are eccentric assholes that are nearly impossible to be around and refuse social conventions.
i wish dude was still here. it'd be hilarious watching him set some of these noobs straight
