In 2005, Loefah, along with Digital Mystikz (Mala & Coki), started up the world famous DMZ night in south London - an area which was - at the time - as far as the realm of dubstep reached. Soon after followed the DMZ record label.
Since then, his production, his residency at DMZ, and his sets worldwide have earnt him status as one of the dubstep genre's original producers and pioneers. Loefah is renowned for his destructive dubplate arsenal, and there are few names in dubstep whose reputation precedes his.
Loefah has had releases on a number of dubstep's most respected record labels such as Tempa, Deep Medi Musik and Tectonic. In 2009, he set up his own imprint 'Swamp'81' (voted best new label 2010) which has seen 3 vinyl releases (from Kryptic Minds and Skream), as well as Kryptic Minds' massive album "One of Us" be released. Less than 2 weeks after DMZ's 5th birthday bash at Mass in Brixton, we welcome the one and only Loefah for a full on sub-bass assault!!!
