A dirty club is still a dirty club. Like people have said the smell is replaced with mcat farts etc.

But the nicer places just smell of overpowering perfume. Its not so bad.

And tbh, for a non smoker like me, the health benefits cant be ignored.

Yo!

I too think it's better with the indoor smoking ban. Ample reasons, most of which already been stated!

I thought the mephedrone smell usually seems to originate from the older bass bins, probably just a combo of the dust and heated circuitry. If any of you Nottingham people know the market bar, they have/had a prime example of this in one of the corners. The reek literally comes out in waves with bass speaker wobbling haha. Pure stuff won't have any smell, and seems unusual that every club would have a similar contaminated smell to it. Dunno, I could be wrong, just to me it smells similar but not the same

Anyway, before the smoking ban I stopped smoking indoors after an incident in which my badly rolled cig set fire to some bird's hair on accident

Clubs do need to infuse the smell of weed onto the dancefloor though...

The cinema I used to work at replaced its air filters with hemp ones, had a brilliant undesired effect

usually when I go to dubstep events it just smells like weed.

Seriously though... smoking cigarettes indoors is kinda gross.

Doesn't affect me as I'm not a smoker.

I love Belgium and the other countries that totally ignored the ban. Walking into a bar and being able to spark up made me all nostalgic and childishly happy.

They just fit quality air con and filters in a lot of the bars so it doesn't stink. Makes sense.

Yeah remember it too. Went to Bruxelles after the ban had been put in effect in Denmark, and it was nice, that you could drink a beer or cup of coffee or whatever inside and light at cigarette. Only in the autumn/winter months otherwise everyone prefer too be outside  .
