Well thanks man, means a lot. I wasn't sure if I had this dubstep thing down, I used to make straight house but I've moved to dubstep and drum and bass my last few songs, its pretty fun :)

I can see where you trying to go with the sound, needs a bit more layering and the kick drum needs changing, i personally think it sounds a bit heavy for ambient music.... but apart from that its good, keep it up.

I'm sure u have enough feedback on this tune by now, but I'd like to add... the synth on the 2nd drop... NIIIICE!!!
u could even end the tune around 3:48, maybe keep the notes playing a bit longer and fade it away slowly, it should work really smooth imo. the 3rd drop, well that could be a new song right there. just my thoughts :)

I was thinking about ending it there :) Thanks for the feedback brotha, im glad you dig it. I wasnt sure about the sub though, almost sounds overbearing, it may just be my shitty speakers though.

sup m4rs

+ love the tuned down vocals
+ the mid bass and formant bass that comes in at 0:35 is wicked
+ nice riser at 1:00
+ formant gets even better at 1:18

solid tune :5:

+ nice punchy drums at the start
+ i like the hat on the upbeat

- bass patch on the first drop is somewhat compelling...but could be more in ur face. camel crusher maybe?

with regard to structure, maybe try some some mini breakdowns on the 4 or the "and" of 4 at the end of each 8 measure phrase? for example, check out the siren at 1:02 of this:

+ its got a nice brooding feel to it
+ i like the bass quacks
+ really nice use of filtering
+ builds tension really well

- feels a bit more like an intro than a tune. i kept waiting for the drop... a heavy drop like 0:24 of this:

but then thats just me and i tend to like the filthier stuff...

@Bassmagnet: Nice vibes, especially when shit starts happening at 1:11. Nice movement to the track, my only criticism would be that really harsh saw wobble thing that comes in 2:11, it feels out of place and a little hollow.

@Zap: I like what your doing here, but be careful about frequency range and levels, when that detuned synth comes in, your snare loses alot of its body.

Decided to work a little bit more on this despite how generic it is as I invested a good bit of time into it. It's coming along a little more.
