Like my Mum always said, what goes out of fashion always comes back...

Not sure if anyone remembers but back in the early days of Dubstep there was also a breakstep! Caspa wa sthe king of it althought he wasnt called Caspa back then!

Point being there will always be new names for music but the funny thing is its always the listeners that create these stupid sub's and after so long of coining ppls music it sticks!

Sadly some people just cannot accept that one mans shit is another mans gold and just cos you dont like Midd range doesnt mean everyone else has to!

As southparks version of Micheal Jackson would say "Your just ignorant!" lol

LMFAO!!!!! Brostep???? I guess I'm out of the loop. So all these Mid-range wobblers are being called BroStep, now? There's this Brostep blog I just saw. I thought it was a joke....Maybe not. All the tunes were mostly US producers. Some of them I liked a few years ago, before I started getting to deeper & funkier tings. Some in the "Brostep" mix were just silly Wobblers w/cheesy Horror or Gangsta movie samples> All the beats were the same and almost every tune sounds the same.

I'm just sayin'.

Here's the link:

No disrespect Dj Kabz, but some of these tunes are ridiculous!!! Just like some of you think Brackles, Shortstuff, Martin Kemp, Joy Orbison, Untold, & Hyetal are too weird or not 'ard enough.

I must say I like some of the hype stuff, but the tunes that are being labelled as brostep Imo usually have lower production values than some of the other stuff (breakage, mala etc)

I agree.

Things like Cookie Monsta are just not very well produced. On the other hand, if you search through all the garbage, there is very well produced "filthy" tunes as well; Broken Note, Chasing Shadows, the whole Datsik/Excision/Downlink Rottun crew, etc.
