Cheers

Sickkkk track, youve got your wobbles downn, i really like how much you pause between the sections, it makes everything a bit more excitable ! good work
sounds good dude but id try n fill it out a little more sounds a little empty
ez dude nice track the only thing i'd do is add some more drum patterns n breaks a little more variation ... the sub and lead go nice togetherlowpass wrote:

edit: With my track I just really wanted to use this chiptune sound, don't feel the need to hold back on harsh crit, peace
Hey man! Thanks a lot, really appreciate such positive feedbacklowpass wrote:@Wirez - Great tune mate, being honest I wouldn't mind a tad more verb on the drums, but yeah arrangement, instruments and processing all great, big up!
Mate if you're using reverb as a send then just highpass at about 300hz(ish?) stops everything getting really muddy (like you said) but I always like to add little tiny bits from everything ( even like the kick drum)wirez wrote:Hey man! But this will be something I'll listen out for a bit more in the future, so thanks for that feedback!
Have left you a soundcloud comment on your track and will be following from now on
Great tune!
Code Zero wrote:Hi made a chill track for a change.I kept it as minimal as i could to lay the main focus on the vocal. Honestly i was just in the mood for something like this, stumbled upon the vocal and started making beats underneath it. Vocals in the begin don't quite fit, but it didn't really bother me
.
Listen & comment plz
btw i like this monthly thing way better!

Yeh man, just to clarify I do generally use a high pass my reverb sends. Maybe 'muddiness' wasn't the best term to describe what I was talking about... I wasn't necessarily talking about lack of clarity and shite in the lower end of the spectrum, just a lack of clarity in general that reverb can sometimes cause when there's a lot of things exploiting it, if you see what I mean. This is definitely something I will be considering in the future thoughlowpass wrote: Mate if you're using reverb as a send then just highpass at about 300hz(ish?) stops everything getting really muddy (like you said) but I always like to add little tiny bits from everything ( even like the kick drum)
