Hold tight the travelling crew. If your are thinking of going just for this be aware of the fucked up door policy. I tried to go to th one last month but for no other reason other than not being german or spoke any german we didnt get in.
On another note that line up looks sick.

Nationality and/or language has nothing to do with the door policy.

I guess it will remain a mystery. But I think I will try again in September maybe. I have to go to a Substance though. I say its a nationality thing cause these english guys didnt get in, 10 odd german people in front get in comes to us and dont get in.
Was just pissed I went for it and to not get in for no reason is a piss take. Cause I could go to any old techno night. But i went for the music. Imagine if people coming from all over the place got rejected at a DMZ. But that doesnt happen.
How was the one in January anyway? Kode9 b2b Martyn would have been sick.

Last time was okish, I missed some diversity in the Line Up, but this time it`s on.
Door policy is hard but fair and as Pauli said it has nothing to do with the Language/Nationality, but unfortunatelly necessary due to the popularity.
There!

regarding door policy would say its super easy to get in for SUB:STANCE compared to other nights...
they do smell fear though and also best not to appear touristy on the door (loud drunk english is a no no)
been turned away from door few times myself too, but I think it's kinda important that they dont let
just anyone in, sometimes it does suck gettin turned away though, but there's always Golden Gate
10min walk away

i have heard of ppl travelling from the uk for this and not getting in. I think thats pretty poor, not getting in because they smell fear / an english person. All these myths / truths make me not want to take the trip just for this night because I run a large risk of not getting in.

Well up for travelling over from London for this but like others kinda worried about going to all that effort/expense only to be rejected on the door, either because of the door policy or because of capacity. Never been to Berghain before, thinking about flying over Fri coming back Sun. Whaddya reckon, worth a punt or foolish undertaking?

Speaking about capacity, how many people can get in? What is the capacity? I'll be getting there from quite a distance so I would like to know whether I should get to the club by the time the event starts or if it's possible a bit later?

Our room holds about 900. Best to get there early if you don't want to queue for ages.

Feeling spontaneous - flights booked

Love Scuba's stuff and want to experience it on a massive system somewhere miles from home, plus the rest of the line-up is incredible.
Fingers crossed I get in, better figure out a plan b. Will be on my own, speak a bit of German and will keep quiet and sober in the queue. Any other tips appreciated eg.best possible time to turn up? How early is "early", as I've heard of people rocking up at midnight getting rejected. Usual mixture of myth/bitterness that you read online about the door policy...
