Ive searched throughout the NI support forum for help with this but have found nothing so far. Im running kontakt 4 in logic on my mac. When I try to save a user preset when dealing with modulation, it will save, but when I try to load the user preset for that piece of modulation the box just comes up blank..

Ive tried saving too soo many different folders suggested and have had no success. Its funny because i can save script presets and load them fine. It would really suck to have to recreate all the work on the modulators. Has anyone else ran into this problem ?
Any help appreciated!

Im fairly new to kontakt so im not to sure what monolith is but from what I've read just now it is combining the files right? (wav, nki or w/e)
Im trying to save modulation presets for a flexible envelope what would monolith have to do with this?

So it sounds like you've saved the user preset in the module inside kontakt and then reloaded and it's blank? Sounds odd there's a couple of reasons this could happen the most likely is the default pathway for kontakt's presets has been changed.Do you have kontakt on an external hard drive? This is from the manual: On a Mac, you can find the factory and user preset folders in
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Native Instruments/Kontakt
3/presets
Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Documents/Native Instruments/Kontakt
3/presets
It's recommended to not change the default location for the .nkp files (user presets)

ya im looking a flexible envelope modulator, I click the PRESET option which opens 3 tabs: factory, user, SAVE PRESET. I've tried saving the preset in all the suggested directories. When i go back and click PRESET and then put my mouse over USER to load the nkp file I just saved, a small box next to it appears blank.
would I have changed the location if I saved a preset somewhere other than the default location or would I have to change the default location some other way?

You set the default pathway when you initially install kontakt, so have you put it on an external hard drive? This might have changed the user directory. Your best bet is checking to see if your nkp files are found in the directory i wrote above:
Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Documents/Native Instruments/Kontakt4/presets
If they are then i don't have a scoobie, could be an issue with kontakt 4 (i'm still on 3.5) in which case you should hit up NI they basically always have kontakt in an ongoing public beta still lots of bugs from version 3 not sorted.
