listening to Goldielocks on Roach Coach Radio and I give her mixing a D- and selections a C+..but i like her tracks she's produced that i've heard hahaha . And she's djing in NYC tonite i heard..mmkay.

Skream is pretty terrible at times, but I think thats pretty much down to how fucked up he gets behind the decks.

I'm Aporia's homegirl and we were just sitting here listening to Goldielocks..sorry lady but you BUTCHERED your Scion mix...seriously need to practice programming skills and mixing dropping tracks in with good levels...Quiet>loud.

And...if you haven't practiced cutting to the beat...dont' drop it like you fell while doing so hahaha if anything i gave it an A for entertainment! A "D" for mixing and a big fat "F" for FAIL

caspa is nothing special at mixing either

his set for smog last year was some of his worse mixing, but he makes up for it by bringing fresh dubs.

i saw caspa last weekend in LA, his mixing was way better, above average for sure on saturday.


and coki is pretty bad at mixing also

but he is coki so it doesn't fucking matter really

yeah, matter of opinion. and thats all this is really also it sucks when you're djing and supplied with shitty equipment (warped records, fucked up tone arms, shitty monitoring) so those instances don't count haha. was really just curious about where the discussion would lead not to put down anyone, constructive criticism is good even for the big names heh. we're the ones paying for tickets to shows and listening eagerly online

Definitely true. You make a very valid point when it comes to the equipment. in 13 years, I've played on some of the best and worst! I was more leaning toward the fact that a lot of guys who can mix seamlessly, can't make a tune, or even a beat to start with. Everyone has their days on the decks, it's all a matter of opinion, like you said!
