I know this is sort of a production question but anyone who has listened to his solo album have any idea on the samples of the drums used or how to create those sounds?

nothing too special really, just a combination of samples from classic drum machines (808 etc), field recorded sounds. I wouldn't be surprised if allot of the percussion was sampled from old Radiohead Pro Tools sessions, chucked in a sampler n manipulated.
