Introducing Statix. To put it simply, dubstep’s answer to Bad Company. Quite a title? With distinctive records such as ‘Mind Over Matter’ & ‘Purgatory’ shredding their way through the dubstep scene, it’s one that is definitely justified. Statix means …. Well, nothing actually, there isn’t a reason behind the name, although there is a reason as to why Statix contains 5 members. Eddie, Ross & John take care of the beats, while arguably Bristol’s finest dubstep MC duo Shadz & Frilla slingshot hooks and bars on an unsuspecting audience.

SHANTI SOUND system brings you the thickest cuts of reggae, dub and roots flavas! Producer / Dj Embassy has spent the last two years playing in and around England, performing with Exeters famous DIBDUB sound system, playing at Glastonbury, Beautiful Days festival in Devon and supporting Dreadzones 2005 tour. Rapid and Embassy have recently teamed up in the studio to produce a selection of dub influenced tracks for release later in 2006. Look out for promos and Shanti Sound giveaways at future events. Dj Rapid one of Bristols finest, playing at many venues throughout his career including One Nation, Mutiny, Joy and Life. The "stupendosuly well-named" Ewan Hoozami (Venue Magazine 2008) is a DJ/producer from Bristol. Since taking to the ones and twos he has never yet left a dancefloor intact, with solid technical skills, an ever-expanding arsenal of great records and the temerity to drop anything in the name of a good time.
Ewan is a proper DJ, able to scratch and juggle with the best of 'em, mix all genres like a pro, and collect the best records from any and all eras. Having spent the last 3 years doing anything up to 5 gigs a week, he has become one of the most experienced DJs on the scene, playing clubs and festivals around the country and in Europe, and has supported some of the world's finest acts.
Since taking to production, Ewan has built himself a serious reputation as a prodigious beatmaker. With his tunes played on BBC Radio 6, Solid Steel radio, and being championed by the likes of DJ Moneyshot and DJ Cheeba, the variety, originality and texture of his music is being recognized all over the world.
Ewan is a member of Bristol's finest funk DJ crew "Funk From The Trunk, who can be seen tearing up dancefloors across the country, whether in room 2 at a dubstep rave or mainstage at festivals. They are also responsible for bringing some of the world's funkiest bands to Bristol for the 'Funk From The Trunk LIVE!' spectaculars.

So.......... The epidemix are a collective of 3 DJ/Producers from Bristol - Chris - Potent, Simon - Jellyman & Ryan - Red-Eye. They’ve been friends for a while and run a local night called BASS EPIDEMIC together…. so it only seemed natural to combine forces and create "THE EPIDEMIX". The boys joined together for their love of the music and have roots in the commercial and free party scenes . Each of the three brings their own ideas and influences to the plate when creating their tunes! Dubstep is the main dish of the day but expect to hear DnB, Breaks, Techno and anything else they feel like messing about with. Yerrrrrrrrrrrrr!
