Ultimate Success
Whats up peeps of DSF.
As an artist, what would your ultimate success be ? Have you already achieved it ? How far from it?
Let says that you going quit from music tomorrow (not happening, but just giving a example) Would you be satisfied with you succession at the moment.
Whats you're ultimate success? Lets keep a good vibe for these successions... and make us all keep working are balls off, because being productive from 9am till 9pm is good for you !:)

Re: Ultimate Success
Big. That's definitely an ambition of mine. Just one release would satisfy me, don't care about being big in the game, would just be a nice milestone to reach.Echoi wrote:hearing one of my tracks being played in a club for the first time was a pretty big moment for me i guess

Having a tune played out must be massive, always been curious more than anything to hear what my tunes would sound like on a proper rig.
Re: Ultimate Success
yea defo, i was a bit unsure about letting him play it tbh as it was one of my really early productions, ended up sounding ok. but yea it was nice to have it played and see people respond to itj-one wrote:Yeah yeah, was just saying that's my "ultimate ambition".Echoi wrote:it wasnt even a release, mate of mine opened his set at dubzilla with it last yearj-one wrote:Big. Re: Ultimate Success
I've had a couple played at small local venues but wasn't there to hear, all with very basic mastering (aka not mastered), makes me cringe thinking what the levels were doing lol.
Re: Ultimate Success
yea exactly that, i was actually pretty nervous about hearing it drop seeing as it was such an early production and my skills werent up to much. had quite alot of stuff played it clubs now but that was the only one ive managed to turn up for. so have tried to get as much feedback as poss from the dj's playing themj-one wrote:I've had a couple played at small local venues but wasn't there to hear, all with very basic mastering (aka not mastered), makes me cringe thinking what the levels were doing lol.

Re: Ultimate Success
my goals as a producer/DJ:
1. get my stuff available thru digital labels
2. eventually get my stuff pressed to vinyl
3. play lots and lots of shows, hopefully in Europe and Asia at some point.
above all, i just want to make good music and MAYBE make some money so i can quit my job. thats much more of a longterm goal, though.

Re: Ultimate Success
I don't think you can succeed, you just keep doing it.
