$tashbox’s first guests sees the foundation of the creative collective Luckyme that houses the likes of Hudson Mohawke, Rustie & Éclair Fifi, to name a few, arrive in Dundee after smashing up clubs across Europe.
THE BLESSINGS are Dom Sum & Fineart, based out of the musical hotbed that is Glasgow. Things are moving fast, up & forward for the duo in 2010, with Luckyme’s in-house club, Baller $ocial Club, expanding to new venues across Glasgow and a Luckyme stage confirmed at Sonar 2010. And having shared bills with some serious heavyweights like Flying Lotus, Joker, MachineDrum, Rye Rye, The Cool Kids, Theophilus London, & more, we are pretty pleased we’ve got them up DD1 way.
Purveyors of Hip-Hop in its many forms, Dubstep, Garage, House and more, $tashbox/Underground/ APRIL 2nd should provide an all too rare evening round these parts.
Supporting the duo are residents Mr Coull, the brains behind the diverse juggernaut that is Concrete Streets, and ERRL FLNN, a man with more aliases than the entire Wu-Tang Clan put together, who aim to pack more heat than an oven door by running through a select array of records for your aural pleasure.
