How much did you spend on Outlook last year

Post by davetherave321 » Wed Mar 31, 2010 8:45 pm

Looking into festivals with Glade, Big Chill and Outlook on the agenda. Was just wondering about how much people spent on going to Outlook last year, including ticket, accommodation spending money etc

YOOOOOOOOO, outlook rinsed, inside the festial drinks were NOT cheap at all. Around town it was pretty much uk prices even in supermarkets.

the apartments are pretty cheap though, alternatively my mates that went camping had an equally sick time on the cheap. You can do it cheaply but you certainly wont live like a king. including flights and ticket i reckon the cheapest you could do it for isabout 250 quid, just dont buy any fish platters!!!!

also if ur looking at doing glade n the big chill a few mates worked for SLS Security (google dat) they got paid good money for having a laugh. u can work at glastonbury aswell through them if that interests you. x

No they're not up for it. At all. The foreign office website says:
Drugs: Don't get involved in any way with drugs. Penalties can be severe, with heavy fines or imprisonment. Don’t carry anything through customs for anyone else.
I've heard of people going to nick for three months for having 0.3g of hash...

I took an 8th with me on the coach and got caught skinning up on the beach on the second day by undercover police, they said they should of given me a 2000 euro fine and made me pay for a flight home the next day. They did find some little ones in my pocket aswell though.

He just let me off with a warning after about half an hour of threats.

watchout for the henchys wearing bum bags.

You can do it as cheap as £350 for everything if you want to. Prices are generally cheaper cigarettes and booze are especially (2 litres for 25p is abit cheap £1 at most thou, and they make some moonshine-esque home brewed brandy that they sell on the street for like £8 or £9 for a hench bottle and believe me that shit is lethal lol) and you can get peng restaraunt food for the same price as buying stuff from supermarkets. You can get bud if you really wanted to, don't think they're that harsh on it at all tbh. Coming back we had to stay in pula airport (which you will find out is one of the smallest airports ever) for about 24 hours and it was suppose to close over night so had to ask the police to let us stay and they said no drinking but smoking bud was bless! lol unfortunately i didnt have any lol. Drugs were easy to get hold of but if they weren't i don't think it would have made any difference to how sick the festival and holiday was. All the police are ex military so there pretty commanding to say the least, soon as we landed i was told to pull my trousers up cuz they were a little low and believe me i wasnt gona argue with this guy lol. As long as u dont act like a clown they wouldnt give you any problems.

Anyone thinkin about it just do it you won't regret it!

what's the deal with accommodation over there? i don't see how i'm going to be able to take over a tonk tent for me and my mates given i was just gonna take hand luggage. did they organise apartments for people to stay in last year? i've seen hostels for £10 but was hoping there might be self-catering type places for rent if there are enough of us.

Remember, this is in a different place than last year.

Although the prices of drinks etc should generally be the same - I don't see any bars in venue in the photos posted on the Outlook website so maybe they've got some mobile thing or doing it themselves.

Anyone else get reminded of the film HOSTEL when you look at the photos? Someone is blatantly going to get lured and chopped up by some fit bird with a tight snatch and big knockers.

I did about £400-500
