High Rankin – Meow Meow (Cheap Thrills). Video.

High Rankin, Dubstep’s Chris Morris brings the big debate surrounding Meow Meow / Mephadrone to Youtube and the clubs. A resident of Brighton (Meow Capital of the UK) and a DJ on the front line, this number one download and video examines the controversy from an open and anarchic angle. From someone who has seen people in and around Meow Meow, the youth’s attitude to intoxicants and the effects of the government’s experiments with drug legislation.

High Rankin says:

“With meow hype in full swing I decided to make a stand in the only way I know how and heckle from the cheap seats. The cheap seats this time coming in the form of a comedy Dubstep track with a particularly foolish video and a collection of t-shirts emblazoned with the slogan 'Meow is for pussies'.”

High Rankin is a very outspoken member of the dance music community and is happy to answer your questions surrounding this controversy.

The track has been number one on both beatports Dubstep charts and trackitdown.nets overall charts. Its getting played all round the world by the likes of Pete Tong, Busy P (owner of Ed Banger records and former manager of Daft Punk) Hervé, Eddy Temple-Morris(X-FM) and many more.

Chris Morris, fuck off. Looks more like a bunch of Nathan Barleys cashing in on the latest pop culture talking point.

Es are good, Es are good, he's Ebeneezer Goode. Except he's not. He's somebody in a cat suit. How wacky.

Mwah ha ha ha ha ha.

I remember when Dubstep had fewer ironic porn star moustaches.
