Solid tune here, few things though, the clap is tearin through on the 2-3KHz range perhaps, a narrow cut in this area would bring down the piercing sound of the clap, missin low end.

Untitled track, dark, minimal Dubstep.
Does the tune fill out the frequency spectrum, anything missing>?

Cheers.

Hey,

I read the production forum on a regular basis but haven't posted in this area yet. Getting to the point where I'd like some others opinions on my production so I thought it was about time I'd share my feedback as well.

@tripwire - I'm digging the overall feel of the track. I like the sounds you've used and think they complement each other well. The build up is cool and works well but I think the drop is a bit of a let down. I really like the meat of the track but it seems to be lacking the sense of urgency that you've created in the intro. This is my kind of track I'd like to hear it when it's finished.

@cleanexecution - I really like the intro to your track and the synth pattern you used is cool. The bass wobble seems to be a little overkill for me and eats up the rest of the track. I personally don't feel you need the constant in your face mid range bass to keep the energy going. Maybe you could break up the wobble and introduce the synth pattern from the intro or another element throughout the meat of the track? I think you could do some interesting things by creating some more space that would keep me interested from start to finish.

I look forward to some constructive criticism in the future!

Yhe I improved it quite a bit from earlier today, so I will repost when I have it ready.

Blackmagic and a little EQ.

Alright so I updated this one a bit, EQ'd areas that needed attention, added another section.

Dark, minimal dubstep, please critique, would like to know if the hi hats are sitting nicely also if the track fills out the frequency spectrum?

@ HAACK - I'm really feeling this man you have a nice deep flow going on. I like the High Hats but they could be a little more crispy. I think it would be cool if they had a bit of grit that lingered around after each hit. I do feel like you're missing an element from the track that makes it seem likes it's lacking. Maybe a few more bleeps, bloops, and donks could do it? I think it would sound good if you found another light lead type sound that could sit in the back of the mix as well. I look forward to hearing the track when it's finished.

Nice work! Really feeling this, i really love the way the track switches 0:53 with the sample. Bass is so well done, i really can't think of anything bad to say 2bh, i think the hats fit nicely into the track.

deprivation i love, so chilled out nice vibes keep that one goin

for shadow again got a real nice feel to it, the kick and snare are a little systematic though? perhaps a little variation in their arrangement over the song, simply because there is such a little amount of hats and breaks in the middle so the attaintion stays on the same bum cshhh if you know what i mean? :?

hanyways really nice meng :D

Thanks man! :D
I definitely feel where you're coming from on Shadow, i'll have to get right on adding some variation on the kick and snare, especially the kicks imo and see what i can do about getting a final copy of Deprivation rendered soonish. Thanks again for the feedback! :D

I would firstly like to point out, your waveform is looking wonderful today! Secondly i love that synth especially the first stab at the start with the pitch going down on the delayed parts! and also love the subs pitch going down sorta leading into each different part, lovely deep sub may i add.

Looking foward to finished thing
