To play at Fabric/FWD/DMZ
An album release would be nice.
Set up a small label.
Not too much to ask really.........

For me to succeed I would have to make consistently brilliant and original music for as long as I make music.
I'd like to compose a symphony at some point too.

Big. That's definitely an ambition of mine. Just one release would satisfy me, don't care about being big in the game, would just be a nice milestone to reach.
tru dat

I dont have an ultimate goal... its all about the journey.
Once you achieve an "ultimate goal" kind of doesnt leave
a lot left to do with your life eh?

ultimate success... i've already reached that. music brings me inner peace, and that's what i ultimately want from any experience. it took me a while to get to that peaceful state (20 years) but once I finally got there once, I find that I can go back any time i wish, provided i just have some decent music.
the second best part of music is touching another person's heart.. at least for me.. and I've done this, fully knowing the significance of it. if i can make someone feel something amazing w/ a guitar and my voice.. life's complete to me... so i feel i'm as successful as any musician.
even though life sucks and people keep letting me down, music keeps me up and makes me happy. i LOVE every song i produce... i wouldn't make em if i didn't! that's success if you ask me. now i just need a goddamn job...

had two, name on a flyer, release some tunes... I got the second before the first, that inner chi or whatever narcissus was on about, its gone, by life goals as a musician have been fulfilled in the wrong order, Im in a wierd state about it... Producton wasnt what I got into this for, and in my opinion, its not my better side, djing is by far... to recieve some kind of fullfillment in it when Ive been working at djing alot longer, and alot harder, kinda gutting...
Really put stuff in perspective though, as far as what direction music may take me...
IDK, Im gonna go find myself soon enough, good times ahead.

im always thinking about where I wanna take my musical journey, basically my goals for the future are to get put on vinyl, have some people stoked on my music, and to tour doing live electronic shit on some samplers.

My ultimate success is simple I want a digi release, someone to play a tune of mine out, spin at a couple events and for someone to ask me for a 320.

I read some great things in this topic! Really, some of them made my morning.
I wouldn't say there's ultimate success. But generally I want to make better music and want more people that appreciate what I'm doing.
Really... someone you don't know coming up to you and saying "I love your music mate, it makes me smile/bassface/think more." - priceless.
Success is as somebody said - a chain of things and making them work together.
Cheers!

Ultimate goal would be to make music that sounds like Vaski, Datsik, and Excision all produced a child together.
