i dunno, i thought the thing that made this track great (in my opinion) was the fact that the filthy bassline gels quite well with the melodic synth over it?

Yeh they are but they are not cheesy!

Dubstep now days reminds me of Happy Hardcore and Judge Jules.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

Cheesy vocals, pads, leads etc. The stuff that ruined Trance and Hardcore seems to be creeping into Dubstep:/
When you say Cheesy stuff, i personally would not not refer to being melodic, what makes it cheesy is the key the producer has writen in, and what would make that melodic is the sounds he has picked. So... its like only half melodic, because is not musical melodic, its written in a common key... maybe C (  )

To be the full melodic sound, you need to be writen in some crazy diminished scale, with some melodic sounds :)
Hence, all you melodic heads out there, keep writing those songs... :)
A brand new song!

I said it has nothing to do with melody:/

Its the sounds used, the fluffy pads and really cheesy breakdowns/drops, buildups and the use of the word EPIC non stop.

You got a example to show me...? i know you probably don't want to stick up no producer for their music, but a example would be good.

Huh? Yeh I am into vinyl but I still check out mp3 areas. I am not looking for the cheesy stuff, I cannot stand the new wave of trance/happy hardcore style of dubstep I keep hearing:)

The digital side has zero music I am after:( I look thru it all (I do own cdjs) but its dire.

Shouldnt need to really. I am sure people know what 'cheesy' means when it comes to vocals and breakdowns/buildups etc.

Pure hands in the air, I love you, you love me business

If 3 people ask for it I will give a link to a recent Rinse FM show by someone who has already been mentioned for being great and all that.

Pure cringe worthy music from someone I thought more of. I hear it changing and see where it is going and its not good :D

If you think Filth was bad, its going to get worse lol

Look into this crystal ball of mine.

http://www.getdarker.com/audio/sets/Bre ... FM-270110/

Skip the junk DnB in the first half and go straight to 88:00 mins for an example of what happens when trance meets dubstep.

That horrendous music is what dusbtep is being known as to many.

Cheese is taking over Filth! :)
