/\ That's pretty much the vibe I got from this thread.
I don't see why people feel threatened by new emerging genres and sub genres it's not like they're going to kill dub step as you know it.

What a retarded comment.
First of all, this is nothing new, its using parts from other music, shit parts.
Nothing at all about being threatened either, I am disappointing people are actually buying it.

It wasn't an entirely serious post... And it was obviously a sweeping generalization and not really directed at any specific person in this thread.
"First of all, this is nothing new" - I disagree just because you don't see a massive jump from one genre to another instantly doesn't stop it from being new, nearly all progress in music happens over time through amalgamations of previously existing genres or rejections of ideas in previously existing genres. Occasionally you get somebody who's bat shit insane and creates a whole new genre and way of making music but that's very rare. Even if this combination of genres has been going on for 5 years, I'd still consider that new given the youthful nature of dub-step as a genre. 5 years in music is nothing.
"it's using parts from other music, shit parts" - That's subjective. Your personal view on whether an aspect of one genre is shit or not has no bearing on how other people should feel. Nor does it hold any validity whatsoever outside of your own head - because of the subjectivity of music. Nothing in music is true or false or right or wrong. It's a subjective art form - you saying something is shit isn't really enough to make it shit.
I'm not saying you can't say some music is shit, I'm just saying that if you do you're statement holds no validity or truth except to yourself and as such it is really quite irrelevant to everybody else.
"Nothing at all about being threatened either, I am disappointing people are actually buying it." - You're dissapointed in other people's choices? Why? That implies you know what they should be buying or listening to better than they do. Due to previously mentioned subjectivity you don't.
