Los Angeles based DLX is no stranger to this blog. We’ve talked about his beats, both dubstep & drum & bass, we’ve filled you in on his roots and have referenced his affiliation with the infamous SMOG family including his tune on the recent Scion collaborative sampler, but now we have some new info and a killer new mix so get familiar.
This is a promo mix for whats to come with DLX in 2010 showcasing tunes from his upcoming full length album on SMOG, his own label Under The Knife Recordings, as well as some remixes that will (hopefully) be out later this year. Blood Work, Something Fierce and Sanctuary are set to come out on the first EP from his UTK imprint. Rapid Ear Movement, Bone Saw and Marooned are forthcoming on the upcoming SMOG album titled “The Cure“. Drum Fight will be out soon on Effect The Cause Records. DLX is also in the studio working on an act involving live musicians so there will be more to come on that very soon.
