Lol Alexx Kidd In Miracle World music made my parents want to run over my master system. Good music though, as long as it's not your only game. Hearing the music from old games makes me feel these huge waves of nostalgia.

Re: Your favourite computer game music?
@Pedro Sánchez
That Sonic - Chemical Zone has been one of my favs for years. I also really like Green Hill Zone and Emerald Hill
Never heard the Revenge of Shinobi tune before, but it's pretty sick!
---------------------------------
I used to get goosebumps when I heard 'Sign of Evil', the music from the 'Phobos Anomoly' level of Doom 1 (E1M8).
I searched for it a couple of years ago and found out the original sounded shitty and suffered midi-itus. Luckily, there have been some fucking awesome remakes recently!
The original in game music ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00ZQjlOMYK8
A remake, remaining very faithful to the original ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yz2sCuXlokM
Another faithful remake, this time with way better guitars ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8q30I2TcUA
An even better recreation for the Doom 3 engine remake of the 'Knee Deep in the Dead' episode ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKLwPypD4_I
Finally, a recreation by the original composer, made for the Doom OST. (Check how those rad support guitars kick in at 0:46!) ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYVX6b9svuE
Fuck yeah!

Was this Alex Kidd in Miracle World? God I loved that game......futures_untold wrote:Mine is probably Alex Kidd that came built into the Master System. I know all of the music from that game!
Whistling those tunes has seen me through many shifts at work haha!
Re: Your favourite computer game music?
this one is is a bit pathetic on its own but when playing the game the sfx had this wicked reverb on them (which was also what made me like the Zelda tracks) which made it dope for some reason
and it also sounds a bit like 'Lucky day in Hell' by the eels

This music from Sonic One 8bit has stayed with me all this time. Since reading this thread I can't stop humming it! It has a great bridge to it too.
