"it's using parts from other music, shit parts" - That's subjective. Your personal view on whether an aspect of one genre is shit or not has no bearing on how other people should feel. Nor does it hold any validity whatsoever outside of your own head - because of the subjectivity of music. Nothing in music is true or false or right or wrong. It's a subjective art form - you saying something is shit isn't really enough to make it shit.

I'm not saying you can't say some music is shit, I'm just saying that if you do you're statement holds no validity or truth except to yourself and as such it is really quite irrelevant to everybody else.
Yeh I agree mate I didnt mean 'its shit' like that.

This is a thread discussing the current production trends in the genre some of us love. To say that it's not worthwhile is stoopid. Wtf should we be discussing?

start these two clips at the same time...

Nothing about being an elitist at all. I am only pointing out a new trend I see and that is cheese is replacing the mid range noise that has swamped the airwaves. I am also baffled to why it is even happening when there are already genres going with that style of music.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

lol a very ignorant statement...
if it's been 'done' in other genres why wouldn't anyone at some point merge 2 things they love, or is that hard for you to imagine (not to sound rude)
all creativity is only the process of adding onto what we already know and merging many ideas into something new
all paths of music whether shit or not are always worth getting into (just to benefit the growth of all human creativity)

Where have I ever stated, or even showed off any such 'brain'
honestly whenever I read a lot of your posts you come off badly

I gotta say synthy/staby dub is wvere it's at in my opinion. it adds a whole new range of sound and shit ton depth to an otherwise wonky 1 demntion track

Exact same thing happened with the hardcore scene in the 90's. The filth turned into homo rainbows. Shit repeats.

People aren't merging two things they love. Vested interests are cynically attempting to exploit the dubstep brand for their financial benefit. To see this as anything other than a cash grab is indeed hard to imagine.
