while we're talking early Sunday am cartoons, anyone remember the weird East European cartoon about the human body - it was all a bit Inner Space with lil spaceship white blood cells and shit whizzing around someone's body to zap viruses....been trying to find some evidence online but can't seem to locate it.

Think that might have been 'The Human Body' "Once Upon A Time... Life". Animators Procidis made a number of "Once Upon A Time..." series, including "Man" (human history), "Life" and "The Americas",

Have a look here, http://80scartoons.co.uk/.

Not sure how it ended, but wasn't it based on some Greek/Roman mythology???

Yeah It was, loosely based on the Odyssey. I only know this cos I had to study it for one of my A Levels. The Odyssey, that is, not Ulysses 31. I'm beginning to think I know a bit too much about old school cartoons....
