Clearing your production PC

Ok... so i got abit of a problem, my production pc has turned very noisy and it gets quite loud from doing such small task. This was never the issues in the past, i PC use to be so quite you could not even tell it was on, not its like "wow whats that" oo don't worry its my pc.

So i did some goolgeing, and as i thought these noise could be the fan being jammed up with dusk, so i looked at the back on the fan, as yes there is abit of dusk there. So this mo fo needs a cleaning, however you have to be very caution when cleaning these things, from what i have read, you can use compressed air to clean it but, but i keep seeing how dangerous this can be if done wrong, hold the air long, and too close, you could break the axis from the units you are cleaning ect..

I need some serious help on this, and fast. I really just want to give it someone to do it instead, do PC world not do it...?

IDK who was tellin g you compressed air is dangerous... Maybe we hardware geeks are a little more disrespectful then you, but PC components arent often as delicate as they want you to think they are... Pop the side panel off the tower (dont worry, nothing in there bites)... unplug it, get yourself a can of the orange air doctor (no residue) and start blowing... every once n a while, its recommend you stop and inhale large uanities of the air duster, but, this isnt mandatory. You honestly, shouldnt have much dust on non moving components, and if its just a noise problem and not one with heat or smell, then you shouldnt have to worry much aboyut board dustiness...

Maybe, MAYBE if you were using an actual air compressor you could push to much power and break something... and thats a maybe... but I for one have clothes baskets full of pc parts, that I just kinda pick up n chuk around my room, build machines out of them all the time, worst abuse you could fathom, and they always tuff it through...

Air doctor, no residue formula though... nice minimal pressure cans, and the flexible hose nozzle is the shit to get into tight spaces with, so you dont hyave to fiddle with a big ass can of air trying to spray out the inside of a 6 inch deep tower.

I just used my mighty lungs and some cotton buds to clean my fans. There amazingly strong not to mention you can take them off the motherboard of your computer.

Yeah exactly most all fans are gonna be those simple 3 prong deals with the tab on one side so you cantplug em in backwards

General research, like it said if you press the air can too close to the unit the surely you're going to run into problems man!

Haha am not scared of my tower, i open it now and again to check if everything is all good. Haha am not inhale no dust in my lungs am going to have on of them gas mask around my face man.

compressed air is only dangerous when you inhale it purely and the room goes all spinning and your hearing goes wAwOawAwOwAwoW

i use a soft bristled brush never had any probs with static

i dismantle my pcs probably once every 2 months depending what i've been doing / working on

love rebuilding them and upgrade weekly

and you should all dl this

it copies all your drivers so when u install windows again you can install all your drivers in one go (rather than 20 disks / websites)
