there is so much more to dubstep than what was mentioned in the article, no offense to the writer, i wish him success, but if the future was solely left in the hands of these artists, i would be worried. surely artists such as Mala, Loefah, Vivek, Kryptic Minds hold the future of dubstep in their hands, being that they are making the most innovative steps forward and also many of them (Kryptic and Vivek not included) were pioneers in their own unique way.

Flying Lotus is another name in the dubstep scene that is looking to add more to it than just bass and wobbles

im only on the first paragraph and i want this article erased from teh internets.

i don't want to hurt your feelings, ben, but man this is just like everyone said, not written or edited well, and not even researched well!!! How you would get a gig writing for MTV is beyond me considering they probably paid you for this but... yea

It's really poorly written, seems like something a high-schooler would come up with, and it just seems really misguided overall. It's like you just read about dubstep in a crappy magazine article and then tried to write about it.

I don't think you're cut for this "journalism" thing. (Unless you're like 14, in which case you should keep practicing)

What do you expect? MTV is a reality television company not a music company any more. I wouldn't trust them to sit on a toilet seat the right way let alone give a look into the ever changing world of dubstep...
