been thinking of this too. Amsterdam or Rotterdam and not just for the bountiful supplies of pot and whores.
Every time I'm abroad I get a strange feeling we're getting screwed here in the UK. But I'm not sure how much use I would be in Holland, I can't speak no dutch and many dutch speak better english than me. So i'm not sure how much hope of employment i'd have. I worry that, before long, I'd end up in frilly undies, parading myself in one of those red neon windows.

hahahaha!!
If you ever want to move abroad, search a UK company in the country you would like go to and apply for a job. But you 're right: knowing Dutch (+ also french in belgium) are essential for living here. My neighbour is from Scotland and he managed to learn dutch in a year. He works for a UK company near Maastricht (NL) and lives in Belgium.

I know, but if you wanna live in another country, communication will become easier if you can handle the country's language ...
